"Meet Me Under The Clock" circa 1978

Shepard's Department Store clock was a landmark in downtown Providence, Rhode Island. The store closed in 1974 but the clock was still there. I took a walk through the city which was practically abandoned because of the 1978 Blizzard that closed the state down for days.

The phrase, "Meet me under the clock" was a famous Rhode Island expression.
